COVID-19 vaccines are now becoming widely available. Getting your COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect you from contracting COVID-19 and will help to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All vaccines are free and you can get your vaccine through the San Diego County even if you do not have health insurance. Click the links on the right for more information.
For COVID-19 testing, first contact your healthcare provider as they are required to provide you with free COVID-19 testing. If you do not have a healthcare provider, the County of San Diego offers free COVID-19 testing. There are many testing centers across San Diego county, including drive-through testing sites.
Businesses with less than 500 workers are no longer mandated to provide paid sick leave to workers. However, if they choose to provide paid sick leave to workers, they still can qualify to receive dollar-for-dollar reimbursement for worker paid sick leave related to COVID-19. This applies to any sick leave taken up to March 31, 2021.
